For the players of Ragnarok Online, the place known as Jawaii has a special meaning associated with marriage and honeymooning in game. RO2 revisits this magical place in an upcoming addition to the game. A lot has changed!
Let’s take a look at the concept work our designers created to bring Jawaii into RO2’s Rune-Midgarts:
Much like with RO2’s Forgotten Payon’s concept, this art conveys a once populated area reclaimed by nature. Since this is concept art and an early step in a long process in game creation, changes will be made but we’re excited to see the results!
This will be a region with monsters and PvE content, rather than a hang out location like the Jawaii of RO1. Is there a bar in this version? Well, it looks like that business did not survive the Day of Despair. However, some very pretty scenery can still be found!

May I ask… if we really can get married.. how about noel? Is he or she can be married with normal char or need to get married just with noel too or noel can’t get married just can be an adopted son/daughter??
As of right now, a marriage system is not part of the current development. This could change in the future, but from what our dev team has indicated, Jawaii will be a PvE area with monsters to fight in rather than a honeymoon location like in RO1.
Can you give an estimate of when it was released?
very curious about it .. Would there a new gear set, perhaps for ml 40?
Development is aiming for a late summer release, but there is no set date as of yet.
If Gonna release on late summer, then we may have in July……
what is it really? Midgard or Midgarts? i’ve seen inconsistencies with the realm name between the two Ragnarok games. in Ro2 itself, the game refers to the realm as rune midgarts but some of the NPC scripts says midgard.
In the lore, the old kingdom of Midgard is destroyed and later rebuilt. The rebuilt world is Rune-Midgarts. Issues with NPC dialogue can be localization issues (since the game is translated from Korean into different language including English.) Rune-Midgarts: The kingdom consisting of the cities of Prontera, Izlude, Alberta, Morroc, Payon, Jawaii, Comodo and Geffen.
Midgard: The whole continent populated by normans/humans. It consists in the Kingdom of Rune-Midgarts, the Republic of Schwarzwald and the States of Arunafeltz.

Verta Delta? I suppose it shall located a Ro2 izlude hill since in RO1 jawaii nearby Izlude town.
