Heimdallr’s Thoughts: The above is a very professional description of the tasks, but basically comes down to we want responsible, honest hard working people that want to give their best to make our CS teams even better than they already are to support our players now and into the future. This is an entry level position in the Game industry and you will learn a TON from the experience, and will look back and admire the challenges you faced. We also work well with School Schedules (college).
I got my hopes up because my boyfriend told me gravity was located in silicon valley and we just moved to san jose…man that stinks it’s all the way in LA…Although I would totally move over there for this job because I want to go to school over there after Jr. College anyways.
If only I lived in LA, or even close
Stupid West Coast monopoly on MMO’s T_T
Umm, you might wanna do a spell check first.
“4. Able to deal with high Stress.”
Ah, the things we do to the GMs. =D
How about opening a branch office out in Denver? <.<
How about opening an office in Sweden for Europian Clients
So… like… if the pay is good enough would any one move to LA?
Open a branch on the east coast D: NYC is close to me. I’ll move their for such a job.
From what I understand, Gravity Interactive is located in Santa Monica, and its subsidary L5 Games is located in San Mateo. However, not sure if L5 Games is still open considering their website is dead.
L5 games entered liquidation procedures in 2008.
Are GM’s allowed to still play RO if you were playing prior to accepting the job or does being hired means the end of your RO career?
“8. Local candidate only (Los Angeles Area)”
oh down sides…
Yes GMs are encouraged to play our games, so they stay up to date with what is going on, and to play and pay attention to other games so they understand what is going on industry wide.
@ Heimdallr:
so, looking at the game i should understand that the current GMs don’t know what’s happening ingame? ’cause seeing bugs for like almost 2 years now makes me wonder
