To start getting people prepared for renewal setting USRC/RWC later this year, we are going to be implementing a series of three PVP tournaments on the following dates:
June 1st 5pm-Yggdrassil
June 8th 5pm-Valkyrie
June 9th 11am-Ymir
Rules:
The tournaments will be based on USRC style matches (best out of 3-best out of 5 in semi-finals, 2 minutes to restock between battles)
These will be conducted on the main servers, not on Sakray so you will be able to use your normal characters and gear to compete.
Teams will be limited to a maximum of 7, and are restricted to one of each class, third class preferred.
There will be a NPC in the waiting room for repairing gear and storage
No god items or MVP cards
It will not be necessary to register your team ahead of time, you just need to be in Izlude a few minutes before the match starts with your entire team.
Prizes: We will be giving out WPS tokens and will be spotlighting the winning team on our site.
We are deliberately not limiting skills/items use besides God Items, MVP cards as this is intended to be a test. Absent clarifications on rules on Renewal RWC we are using these as a way to suss out the problems, abuses and other issues that to be limiting when USRC comes around.
We will be using the restrictions from the event WoEs as a model for the event but we are stressing that this is a casual, impromptu event.
If your team cannot make it or you don’t have a group, post here with your character name/class and server so we can get some pick up groups formed. As long as you have seven people together at the time the tournament starts, you are good to go.
