Hello Everyone,
So last night, along with I’m sure millions of others, the Team went to go see Doctor Strange, and it was amazing. I don’t want to give anything away, but it felt like exactly what it needed to be.
All admit when I first heard about the about the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, I was a little apprehensive. After all, the Doctor Strange comics have always been on the surreal side. I, like millions of others imagined a horrible fate, for such an awesome character, but I am not one to stop just because I have no idea what is going on! The Marvel movies have been a blast, and I had faith that if anything it would be a fun ride. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that everything was as awesome as I had hoped.
Not only was Benedict Cumberbatch’s portrayal of the character everything I wanted it to be and more, the writing that helped tell that story was pased and thought out. They express the character with such frivolous abandon you almost hate him. He’s cruel and undeserving of any redemption, but despite it all he is brilliant. We see this character grow, and if you’ve read the comics you pretty much know where the story leads. He is faced with great evil and takes on the mantle that is thrust upon him. I don’t want to give spoilers for those who don’t know, but I highly recommend it.
It is truly an amazing film.
