CM Dragonlark, CM Astra, and myself are finally coming down from the insanity that was Wondercon!  For those who are unfamiliar about this particular convention, it is what I like to call Mini Comic-Con, but there is nothing Mini about it.  Many of your favorite genres were in full force this weekend with programming from Marvel, DC, SyFy, and so much more.  Truly a place to celebrate not only the joy of simply watching and reading your favorite comic-books, movies, and games, but also a chance to meet the creative minds behind all of them.

Warpportal decided to show up and share the love of Ragnarok with the unsuspecting Wondercon Attendees.  It was our mission to not only spread the good word of Ragnarok, but also to give away free swag!  If you found us at the Convention we were giving away 500 free WP points, exclusive stickers, and Ragnarok 1 was giving out a very special Toucan Hat, which is only available at live events!   We had the opportunity to meet old players, current players, and hopefully many more new players!

We hope to have many more opportunities to share the love of Ragnarok, so keep your eyes peeled for more upcoming events.

Junte-se a nós para o festival Yule!

A alegria das festas está se espalhando por todo o Ragnarok Online 2! O Papai Noel está de volta, porém, as travessuras da Gangue dos Porings também voltaram! Eles roubaram todos os embrulhos dos presentes e o Papai Noel precisa de sua ajuda para recuperá-los! Ajude-o a recuperar os embrulhos e talvez ele possa lhe recompensar com um “bônus de Natal”!

Isso não é tudo, afinal, a sua trupe favorita de Noels está atrás dos flocos de neve novamente! Troque seus Flocos de Neve de Lutie com a Fada Errante para trajes temáticos e consumíveis da temporada!   Não esqueça, os títulos Yule também estão de volta. Complete as missões para obter títulos incríveis como a Grinalda do Natal e o Rudolph Natalino.   E se isso não for o suficiente, nós ainda temos todos os tipos de eventos divertidos e as Promoções de Natal para embelezar sua personagem nesta Temporada de Yule!

So last night, along with I’m sure millions of others, the Team went to go see Doctor Strange, and it was amazing.  I don’t want to give anything away, but it felt like exactly what it needed to be.

All admit when I first heard about the about the upcoming Doctor Strange movie, I was a little apprehensive.  After all, the Doctor Strange comics have always been on the surreal side.  I, like millions of others imagined a horrible fate, for such an awesome character, but I am not one to stop just because I have no idea what is going on!   The Marvel movies have been a blast, and I had faith that if anything it would be a fun ride.  I was pleasantly surprised to realize that everything was as awesome as I had hoped.

Not only was Benedict Cumberbatch’s portrayal of the character everything I wanted it to be and more, the writing that helped tell that story was pased and thought out.   They express the character with such frivolous abandon you almost hate him.   He’s cruel and undeserving of any redemption, but despite it all he is brilliant.   We see this character grow, and if you’ve read the comics you pretty much know where the story leads.  He is faced with great evil and takes on the mantle that is thrust upon him.    I don’t want to give spoilers for those who don’t know, but I highly recommend it.

It is truly an amazing film.
