[WP News] Warpportal does Extra Life 2019

Extra Life 2019 is almost here! Join us for another epic Extra Life adventure. Go to the official Extra Life Warpportal team page and see how you can donate to a great cause! All donations for Extra Life go to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County!

It will be our Sixth year as part of Extra Life and we are so excited to be participating #FortheKids!

The fun begins this coming Friday, November 8th at 10:00 AM and will not end till Saturday, November 9th at 10:00 AM.

The donation deadline for prizes is December 31, 11:59 PST. Make sure to donate before then!

We will be streaming live via your favorite Warpportal Twitch channel Twitch.tv/warpportal and we invite you all to join us in the fun.

Important Announcement for iRO

As many of you have been asking “What’s next for iRO?” we felt it was the appropriate time to share with you the future of the iRO server. We were given the opportunity to receive several updates at once. When selecting which updates to receive, we decided to focus on updates that greatly improve the quality of life for certain classes or otherwise help the general user in their day-to-day adventuring.

In December, we will begin testing a mega-update for iRO server. Included in this mega-update will be about a dozen game-system and quality of life updates such as Daily Login rewards, a tried and tested Anti-Cheat system, the long awaited pet evolution system, and much more. The expected launch date for this mega-update on Chaos and Thor is February 3rd, 2020. During the journey to this update, the server will be experiencing a large in-game event centered on this world’s cycle coming to its conclusion. The Cultists are all around you and will need to be confronted in the coming weeks.

Due to the large amount of updates that needs to be performed, service will be suspended for the period between 12/06/2019 and 02/03/2020 for iRO Chaos and Thor. During the suspension of service, all VIP time will be paused and will resume when the servers reopen. However, we won’t leave you without the ability to play Ragnarok Online! During this break, we will also have opportunities to participate in testing and playing.

Oct 31st: iRO Chaos and Thor cash shops turn off.
Nov 12th: We will be announcing registration for a new game service. Please keep a close eye on our site for more detail coming soon.
Dec 6th: iRO Chaos and Thor suspend service.
Starting in Early December we will be hosting closed and open beta tests of the new game service. In addition, we are planning on a stress test to test the limits of the server.
Feb 3rd: iRO Chaos and Thor reopen for normal play with the new updates.

Hey, adventurers! Welcome to the land of Rune Midgard. Ariel is been here waiting for you, let’s see what’s going on with the interesting grand opening event.

Event 1: Adventurers assemble! To the new journey of adventure!

When the Pre-Register on our Official Website has reached 20k, 100k, 200k, 300k, 500k players, you can claim the corresponding rewards at NPC “Papalu” in Prontera

Event Date: October 16th to November 31st

Event 2: Midgard Geographic setting up Bounties! Taking Boss Picture for loots!

During the event, find “Toad”, “Rocker”, “Angeling”, “Drake”, “Golden Thief Bug”, “Strouf”, “Deviling”, “Vagabond Wolf”, “Mistress”, “Maya” and take their pictures to unlock them on the Adventure Handbook, you will be able to claim “Celebration Lucky Bags” from Tylin at Prontera.

Claim Rules:

Take any TWO Bosses above will be able to claim 2 “Celebration Lucky Bags”,
Take any SIX Bosses above will be able to claim 2 “Celebration Lucky Bags”,
Take any TEN Bosses above will be able to claim 2 “Celebration Lucky Bags”,

Tips：

1. Every character who has taken TEN Bosses will be able to claim 6 “Celebration Lucky Bags”.
2. This event will only able to do once per account.

Event 3: Adventurers’ gift mission – limited time to accept at Tylin(Server Opening)

At Tylin(Server Opening) on Prontera, you are able to accept “New Adventure” series mission. There are 5 days of missions in total. You are able to accept during the first week of server opening. Once you finished all the 5 days of mission within 2 weeks, you will receive the full rewards.

Event Time:

Mission accepting time: October 16th 5:00 to 30th 5:00 (GMT+2),

Mission finishing time: October 16th 5:00 to November 6th 5:00 (GMT+2)

Event 4: Double rewards for Training Ground Challenge(Limited time only)

During the event, the first character under your account will receive double Eden Coin rewards when finishing Training Ground Challenge for the first time of the day.

(Tips：1. Double rewards will only be available on one of your characters under your account. 2. The challenge will reset on each day at 5:00 a.m. (GMT+2).)

Event time: October 16th 5:00 to November 6th 5:00 (GMT+2)

Event 5: Time Rift “Celebration Lucky Bags” limited only!

During the event, the first character under your account will receive a “Celebration Lucky Bags” rewards when finishing ONE Time Rift for the first time of the day. (Tips：1. Rewards will only be available on one of your characters under your account. 2. The Time Rift will reset on each day at 5:00 a.m. (GMT+2).)

All the Premium characters are able to claim 3 “Celebration Lucky Bags” from Tylin at Prontera.

Event 7: The invasion! Labyrinth Forest’s secret, MINI boss raging.

1. During the event, there will be MINI bosses coming out at 20:30 to 21:15 in the map of Labyrinth Forest each day. MINI bosses will come out every 15 minutes there will be 4 times in total for each day.

2. Each time there will be 10 MINI Bosses. Adventurers, please party up to defend this invasion!

Oct. 19th to Oct. 21st,
Oct. 26th to Oct. 28th,
Nov. 2nd to Nov. 4th,
every evening at 20:30 to 21:15, at 20:30, at 20:45, at 21:00, at 21:15 (GMT+2)

Event 8: Double rewards for Mission Board(Limited time only)

During the event, the first character under your account which has finished the first Mission Board quest of the day will receive double item rewards for the rest of the quests. (When Character A has finished the first quest on Mission Board of the day, the reset of those 9 quests will also be double rewards on character A and only on character A)

Tips：1. Double rewards will only be available on one of your characters under your account. 2. The Mission Board will reset on each day at 5:00 a.m. (GMT+2).
