This is a much better way of running wires. Up and down, though someone had to crawl up there to run them all. They have a great setup, we are caged in like animals and its plenty cool to keep you working!
Servers on wheels, sounds like an interesting idea? Don’t worry they don’t get plugged in this way.
They will be setup in these racks. I got in just before the blue man group got to setting them all in the racks. I was quickly in the way and me and Heimdallr had to get out!
I know its not too exciting, but here is where we are at. Now over 24 hours has past, servers are still not 100% open to the public. Some of our older older stuff is struggling, with all electronics they become picky with age so our team is comforting them and ensuring that they won’t be plugged in and left to work, and don’t worry we have hamsters for backup!
hmmm have 2 still wait..is there going to be a bonus exp or something for waiting longer then expected…i hope so..so i can get my ninja and assasin to lvl 90

Smart people would usually tell others a longer wait and finish early than telling them a shorter time and making them wait. Its really annoying especially if you do it ALL THE TIME.

Wow, what a mess for a new center. Never seen hardware moved on a dolly before. Thats quite a wierd way. I would of thought you guys would be using fiber for your runs…

yeah thanks guys for answering my question im like right there with george and sonic the headghog im getting really annoyed with this. and so far all it seems to be is you guys goofing off. so it would be really cool for a strait answer and if you dont know then why dont you say it.
get some dwarves to help u guys out. they are small and very efficient with working in confined spaces.
they arent just goofing off lol this is a big move and a big deal and lets give them time to get it right regardless of that initial incorrect time estimate.
lol sorry, from what I’ve gathered since 6 am yesterday, they are moving the servers, thought they would be done at noon today but during the move some things got a little banged up (which happens during moves you know) and they are fixing it all up and getting everything 100% before they release it to us
