So Heimdallr just headed over to the ISP and it sound like the Tech crew has almost everything set up, and they are getting ready to start testing all of the servers. So within the next few hours expect some down time to our precious Sakray, in preparation of the servers coming up. We’ll keep you posted, and expect a 5 minute warning before the servers go down.
Heim should almost be there and when he does he is gonna be taking pictures of what the final set-up looks like! I hope you’re excited…because I know I’m curious…

Yeah things were going predictably until the unpredicted stuff started happening.
Few more hardware issues than planned took root and are taking longer to deal with than the alotted time.
Of course all the IPs and stuff have to change to take into account the new location, and sometimes software and such doesn’t want to let go of their comfy address very easily.
The Rose patcher was overhauled last week specifically so that ROSE players would be able to connect to the new location (else that update may have come a few weeks later) and RO needs the Sakray server to be disabled so it can be rerouted.
At the least that means it is going forward, it was hoped that we would be at this stage earlier of course but it is going forward.
Hopefully they get up today
I just got a call from the GSRVH (Gravity Server Hamster) …It said it was quiet pleased with his new home, but he was wondering if he need a new ID with all security so tight…..

So, I guess the Sakray server just went down? I guess the rerouting is beginning, but are there any plans on bringing the Sakray server back up? or is that party over?
Thank You Heim for update. yes computers are funny when it comes to IP changes. Unfortunatley you will probably run into a few more bumps till its all fixed. Until than post when you have free time. all my support
