First, it helps if you are used to solo leveling in an mmo environment. It is certainly fun to level in groups and chatter but I was mainly interested in learning how to solo my way through the game in what would be a most enjoyable and natural route for my own play style. I tried throwing my points into healing and buffs a bit and found I died fairly quickly, so I decided around level 100 to become a full battle cleric to help my survivability.

This is the build I was using when I reached level 230

Now some of this can be moved around a bit. I rarely used Mana Wave, and I usually forgot to use Sleep although it probably would have helped me survive a couple of times when I pulled more than I could handle. For the most part I used my swords to keep aggro to myself to a minimum and pulled one or two mobs at a time, using mana shield and food with bigger groups and Captain or General level mobs. I’m not going to lie, having reinforced gear helped a lot as well, and I leveled a lot during weekend and the share-a-thon events as well. I occasionally used boosters, but only what I picked up along the way from events. There were a couple of times someone would buff me, but towards the end, especially once I hit Orlo, that wasn’t necessary and I soloed through the last 30 or so levels killing Terrasaurus and Snappers without buffs for the most part.

For Stat Points, I maxed out INT then spread my points out around Dex, Con and Sen (with perhaps a little more in DEX than the other two)

With this build I was able to solo level with relative ease, including the Faith Quest that was needed to get into Orlo at the time. There are definitely a lot of other builds that would work, but this is what I used and it worked for me! This last week was a big week for ROSE Online videos and livestreams, with three new ROSE videos on the Warpportal Youtube Channel!

On Monday, 1/09/2017, ROSE Online had an Orlo preview livestream, where I was able to show off some of the awesome gear, weapons and zone updates coming to Orlo with this months highly anticipated Orlo Update! More specifically, the jellyfish!

They don’t even look like fish!

-There are over 200 species of jellyfish.

- Jellyfish go through three stages of life, where they transform from one form to another (like a pokemon!). There is a type of Jellyfish that reverts back to its first form after the last, meaning it doesn’t die of old age! The Immortal Jellyfish!

Hi! I can live forever!

-The most poisonous types of jellyfish are: Sea Nettle, Portuguese Man o’War, Irukandji Jellyfish and the Box Jellyfish!

-  Lion’s Mane Jellyfish are huge and hard to miss (their bell can reach up to 8ft or MORE)

- The Irukandji Jellyfish is only 5mm with tentacles less than 3ft! It is the smallest members of the Box jellyfish family and is actually really venomous!

Tiny but deadly!

- There are jellyfish that look like fried eggs for some reason.

Not actually a fried egg. Actually a jellyfish.

We did note that the Arua’s Fairy on that island is a bit bloodthirsty. Those poor Scuba Moldies looked much the worse for the wear upon being ‘pranked’.

Dragon Saga has just passed a significant milestone in its history and you, the Dragon Saga Community, have elected out very first Dragon Saga President: Husky! After a grueling campaign, Husky made a sweeping victory, picking up 47.4% of the community votes in game for who you wanted to see as President of Dragon Saga. With ringing endorsements for this adorable canine on all Dragon Saga social media, its no wonder this pup landed in first place!

He is quite the busy pup nowadays, however I did have some time to sit down and have a chat with him!

Dragonlark: President Husky, thank you for taking the time for this interview! How do you feel about being the first Dragon Saga President

Husky: Excited! The Dragon Saga Community is the best!

Dragonlark: You won by a very high margin. Why do you think that is?

Husky: Well I think everyone knows I really care about everyone in Dragon Saga and I would never do anything that is bad for them! Yep! I am on their side 100%!

Dragonlark: What is your first order of business now that you are President?

Husky: Well, I will keep handing out these balloons! Everyone should get a balloon!

Dragonlark: Sounds like a good place to start! Thank you for your time!

But because it is Friday, I would like to take a moment to share some off topic content with you. I will try to post Fun Fish Facts every Friday I can!

To kick things off, I am going to focus on my favorite fish, sharks. In particular, the thresher shark!

Thresher sharks are named for the long tail fins they have. They actually use these to smack and stun prey.

These guys usually nom on schooling fish, squid and cuttlefish, but mainly they hang out in open water and are introverts (for the most part these guys are loners and want to be left alone)

They are also the source of some really cute memes and the inspiration for some really adorable shark gifs

We believe you! Kind of!

That’s fair. Dolphins can be jerks sometimes tiny shark friend!

Also, in celebration of Friday, I want to make sure anyone who likes sharks or puppies is aware of Shark Puppy, the most adorable of shark or puppy comics.

You maybe can tell from the title which puppy I’m voting for! Its fun to see everyone sporting their balloons to support who they like, but I keep seeing non husky balloons?

Come on this balloon is obviously the best guys!

Also its winter in Dragon Saga! I will miss Halloween but the trees look nice! I’m taking advantage of the awesome new costume feature to spot my Halloween gear anyway. It can be Halloween for Winter too right?

I don’t know about you guys, but I love the costumes in ROSE Online! This month we have some old favorites back in the rotation, as well as the all new Howling Wing sets. I was very lucky, when spinning I managed to get my favorite of these wings, the Amethyst Howling Wings.

Here is my soldier in my favorite set in the Lucky Spin right now. I tried on a couple of hats that would match this set, but ultimately though the charming school costume and howling wings with  the soldiers helm mismatch had a sort of charm to it.

My second favorite costume set in so far this month is the Tenjin Costume! While I think I like the Ninja Costume better on my Raider, the Tenjin mask is maybe one of my favorite face masks!
