The window of time that we established to allow for reasonable unexpected problems was 6am Wednesday to noon Thursday.

Currently we are doing well with that schedule, a few reasonable hiccups of course occurred but nothing earth shattering.

If you are curious each rack you saw in the earlier photos is more or less 1 game world, or a set of servers that handle logging, and db stuff. Each one will get powered on and full checked at the IDC, once all clear that initial diagnostics then the games will get loaded into memory (just like every maintenance). Then the GM team and admin staff will do ALOT of thorough testing before we open it up.

Servers like these even when brand new are not designed to do moving around. There is a reason racks are bolted into concrete and the servers hardwired, grounded and bolted into their racks. They like sitting in rooms for years and left alone, we forced them to get out of bed, so now we have to deal with any crankiness that ensues from that.

I don't expect players to be able to access the servers for at LEAST 3 more hours we aren't even GM testing yet.
