Cold…so very cold…

So I’m sitting here at Equinix while the tech team and moving crew are hard at work installing all of the servers. I managed to snap a few pictures of the unloading, and re-racking of the servers. However Equinix has a policy that no pictures can be taken or uploaded without their approval first. So it may be a day or so before I can post pictures of the servers. I’m gonna stick around here for a bit longer and try to get some photos of the finished product.

In the mean time I’ll be checking the forums and working on other stuff from here…in the freezing cold. Do servers really need to be this cold???

  1. Oh Hastur of Hastur, lead these servers to be free from the Terrans and free our world!!!

  2. of course… at amount of heat that servers pump out when they are on, you can be sure to bring your sunnies, suntain lotion for a tropical vacation come Decemeber.

In the meantime enjoy the air-con.

Anyway will we get a comming back gift.. like 24 hours of turbo to thank us for our err understanding ^^.. I’ll be really understading then

  3. Trust me, when the entire building it’s over 33ºC because the cold air it’s “broken”.
Then you give thanks to god to have access to the servers room with nice cold air comming from the floor.
Oh, yes, it’s neccessary to the servers to be cold, BUT not frozen XD.
Also, you know, not only they need cold, they need the humidity to stay in a range of values.
