Ragnarok M: Eternal Love Southeast Asia Launching October 31, 2018
Seoul, South Korea – October 25, 2018 – GRAVITY Co., Ltd. (NasdaqCM: GRVY) (“Gravity” or “Company”), a developer and publisher of online and mobile games based in South Korea, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary in the United States, Gravity Interactive Inc., (“Gravity Interactive”) is officially launching Ragnarok M: Eternal Love Southeast Asia version (“Ragnarok M: E.L SEA ver”) on October 31, 2018 in 11 countries including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam.
Ragnarok M: E.L SEA ver. is based on Ragnarok Online, which has already become a popular game in Southeast Asia. Over 2,500,000 pre-registration signups recorded for Ragnarok M: E.L SEA ver. (official website, Google Play, and Apple App Store) with positive sign of a big hit.
The applicants flooded the Closed Beta Test (CBT) application for Ragnarok M: E.L SEA ver. at the first day, which was limited to 50,000. The company added 35,000 more applicants. The CBT went through a stable test with 85,000 users from October 20 to 24, raising expectations for success in Southeast Asia.
The popularity of the game is mainly attributed to the cute and lovely graphics, the fast actions and various communications that had responded to Southeast Asian users’preferences.
The company will enhance game quality by reflecting players’ feedback and CBT results before the official release date.
